The birth of my son was one of the hardest and best experiences of my life. One of the things that made the experience great was my amazing support and advocate system. Even when things did not go according to my birth plan, I felt that because of the people I had advocating for me, I had the space and information needed to make the decisions that were best for me and my baby.
